Hello captains,

i have now released the manual for the PMDG 737 NG driver module for the OpenCockpits CDU. Beta tests will start soon and i am looking for beta testers now. If you intend to become a member of the test team you are requested to read this manual very carefully!

You should be an experienced flight simulating enthusiast and you should be experienced in flying PMDG's 737 NG and also experienced using its CDU. You should be an owner of OpenCockpits' CDU for B737.

If you think you meet the requirements, please send me a PM!

Download the manual HERE (http://www.b737sim.de/downloads/PMDG737DRV.pdf)

Delvos,

sounds great - let me know when the driver is available for testing.
It would indeed simplify my cockpit setup, since I was playing around with my OC MCP/CDU, Sim-Avionics and even Project Magenta for some weeks. But I just want to fly the PMDG ... ;-)

Just for interest: what mainboard/graphics cards are you still using for your setup? And: do you know whether DVI-I output can be converted to TV-out somehow?

Thanks,

Alex

Hi Alex, the tests are have already started; there are still problems running on other machines than my developing machine, so it doesn't make sense to send the package to you for now. Stay tuned; after christmas, work will go on!

Regards, Michael

Hello Michael,

how is it going with the driver of PMDG CDU and OC Hardware?
Can you give us a short update please.

Thanks,
Markus

Good evening gentlemen,

here is a short overview of the current project state:

the beta testers found some problems that have been solved. These problems had to do with the aircraft initialization. So i converted the module into a gauge that must be inserted in the panel.cfg file. The driver has been tested on Windows XP/Vista/7 with FS8 and FS9.1 - there is only one problem remaining when shutting down FS. I expect to solve this in the next days, so the testers will receive the new version soon...
