Just a reminder that Dave (Deesystems) created a photo section in the photo gallery called "flight simulator gatherings." This would be a good place to stick any and all pictures of the FS weekend in Lelystad.

I was very pleased with the FSWeekend: many new mycockpit-acquaintances, talked about sooo many different building issues, and had a lot of fun!!!
Thank you very much, Matt, for making this possible!

I had a great time (except for some m$%*&$n who managed to destroy a real startswitch in my overhead).

I thought those things were bombproof, but appearently not :-(

Anyway, it was good to put faces to names, meet old friends again and make new friends.

Cant wait for next year

Ouch! Sorry to hear about the start switch. Hopefully that person bought you a few drinks?

Stef, What the f#$% (my children would say).

Terrible news and I hope he or she didn't get away with a couple of drinks. I believe this was a REAL starter switch (very expensive).
Well maybe Claudio can be of help.

Hi,
I had a great time on FSweekend talked to several people ,you only meet at a forum, and is nice to put a face on it.
However I cant resist to notice that the fair is mainly about B737 and Airbus.
and wargames(F16) as well.
For the GA airman there was little news under the sun, therefore I missed Simkits even harder.
FI had some instruments but that was it.
Aerosoft did release LelystadX on the fair date,I hope that this will be the standard for further Dutch Airports and hope that Rotterdam Airport is released shortly.
All in all I had a good weekend at Lelystad.

Hi all!

For me the FSweekend was realy enjoyable. Nice to meet you people in real life!

Our local (I'm from Lelystad) news station has made some shots during the event. These shots are broadcasted monday 9th November in a program called 'Binnen de Dijken'. It's a program about events in the Flevopolder.

On the 'Uitzending gemist' (http://www.omroepflevoland.nl/televisie/uitzending-gemist?progId=Binnen%20de%20Dijken)(missed broadcast) page you can still view the program.

Just follow this link (http://www.omroepflevoland.nl/televisie/uitzending-gemist?progId=Binnen%20de%20Dijken)and then click on the 9th Nov in the calendar to pop up a new window and watch the show.

Regards,

Erwin.

Either the post from "nally" is SPAM or the URL was an error. I removed the link. :(

I haven't seen his link, but this one works: http://www.omroepflevoland.nl/Customercontrols/Omroep/UG_Player.aspx?movieid=43353&path=&ProgType=TV&convlow=False

So no SPAM! The thing is in Dutch only, however...

Greetings (and best wishes and all that!!)
