Hello all,

i have the problem that the N1 Readings often very fast going up/down some percents. Especially when i press TOGA and/or when i press LVCHG during flights. In other situations (decent, levelflight..) A/T worls normal. without
N1 jumps.

It results in uncontrolled movements of the throttle-levers.

I know this behavior as long as i use PM, but tried to live with it cause i havent A/T Servos.

I use FSX with PMDG 737-700 (wihout panels off course) and i follow the notams from PM (FSUIPC Settings)

Is this a known problem with a existing fix, or iam alone with it?

Hello,
I have had that nervous up&down behaviour also. I use
PM FCU software and saitek throttle unit. Can You reduce
sensitivity of axes. Your throttle must be well calibrated via
fsuipc then work fcu or mcu settings carefully. Actually I use
only one axis of my throttle.

Check to make sure that there are no axes settings in FSX (or FS9) being used for your controllers. When using FSUIPC to control the axes, you dont want FS to do it at the same time. I used to get the stuttering, but then I realized that FS was trying to control the axes, as well as FSUIPC.

Also, if you unplug your controllers for whatever reason and plug them back in, FS will try to automatically turn the axes control back on. Even though you have it set in FSUIPC already. Once you have your controllers plugged-in, calibrated with FSUIPC and assigned, leave them plugged-in...

Finally, if you dont already, backup your settings in the FSUIPC4.ini, so that way if you have to unplug your controllers and you somehow lose your settings (say like doing a FSUIPC update), you'll have them. Of course they might not match up based on the identified controllesr, but you can manipulate that in the FSUIPC4.ini file as so they can.

I dont use Joystick inputs for axels. I use the analog-inputs of my Masterard which is completely independend.

Its more a problem with the MCP or he used offsets.

A well know cause of stuttering of an analog axis on (e.g. a mastercard; otther cards with analog axes) is the OTHER, so *NOT USED analog axis ports*
are not electrically connected to the ground. All kind of atmosferic influences can make that port react as if there was a real intended electrical input.

*** This is called floating axis input. ***

This can lead to random ***stuttering of OTHER axes*** on that card.

So, put them on the GROUND.
