A couple of pics after the initial cleanup. It's taken me 3 days so far to get all the rubbish out ( not easy with me still having a dodgy right hand ! )

Still an enormous amount of work to do.

True, at the moment I've so much to do before I can even start on the sim side of things. I've got a windscreen organised and hopefully a nosecone too.
Since ejection seats seem to command ridiculous prices, I will probably have to build a replica Stencel SJU-4, which I doubt anyone would even have here in the UK anyway.
I'm going to restore the paint inside and out and make new access panels. Even seemingly simple things like getting some stencils for the warnings could be a headache.
I'll post more pics as I progress.:D

If you have the artwork for the aircraft it's just a matter of printing cutting and paintng. I would maybe want to make custom stencils anyway as you will want it to look like a specific aircraft (serial number). Just think of it as a 1:1 scale model..

I've managed to get photos of the markings even though they are very faded so I will work on that soon.

In the meantime, I've cleaned all the corrosion off the main panel then used etch primer, high build primer and grey top coat on it, as well as a good clean and rub down of the side consoles, plenty of pre paint panel wipe and a spray of grey. The floor and stick base are next.
