Hi Nat,
3 x Mitsubishi XD500U-ST
Screen is 7.8mtrs long 1.8mtrs high radius of 2.5mtrs from the centre of the cockpit, projector lenses are exactly 2.10mtrs from the screen and I am using the commercial SOL7 blending software.
Amazing software

Ha hah Stef:p

One step ahead...bought the same projectors about a month ago...you been talking to Andy Matt? Great work mate.
Yes Sol7 is a must....no question.

My screen is similar but too narrow(height)...hence the new screen is in the making.

Been experimenting with different radii and its seems 2.25 to 2.5m is the go.

Next step, two more Visual PC's and 180 FOV ...never ends...

Matt or Nat,

Your starting from the center of the cockpit? Could you be a little more precise as to the exact starting point? For example, measured 2.5 meters out from the (a point like the throttle handle or MCP-more where you are starting from) to the center point of the screen.

Matt, could you post some photos as to how you projectors are mounted under the coverings and you're mounting them with what type of mounting device.

Thanks,

John

Not sure about Matt, but I have never really been worried about a "starting"
point relative to any point in the cockpit.

I just set up my Semicircle so the left and right ends of the screen are perpindicaular
to my FWD left and right windows, ie just enough to fill those two windows with an image when looking left and right...

You can sort of see what I mean in mine and Matts pics.

Matt, you say you are using just a single pc for the visuals. What is the specs on that pc please and what sort of frames a sec do you achieve? The graphics are really good.
