MyCockpit ® ANNOUNCEMENT: VYBHAVA SRINIVASAN

<div><img src="http://alexpilot.50g.com/vyhbav.jpg"align="left" border=10 style="border-color: white"/>I'm very proud to introduce and welcome a new member to the Executive Staff of MyCockpit, Inc. Vybhava Srinivasan, Executive Vice-President of Administration.

Vybhav brings to us a tremendous amount of Web-Site management experience and of course as a flight simulation enthusiast. Vybhav will be responsible for the overall operation of MyCockpit.org.

I've asked Vybhav to give us a brief introduction of himself, here is what he says:

As an introduction, my name is Vybhava Srinivasan and referred to as Vybhav (sounds like Y' Bow) by friends and family. I am about 31 years old and a Chartered Accountant (known as CPA in US) by qualification and working as a Manager in one of Big 4 Accounting Firms. I live with my wife and parents in Bangalore, India (as known as the IT City of India).

I am a rather late entrant into the flight simulation community. Around October 2005, I accidentally stumbled upon a website called IVAO during my google searches and that was my first contact with this awesome world. Around 2007 I joined senior staff of IVAO as a Public Relations Director and to date continue to contribute in this position. This position has brought me in contact with flight simulation enthusiast around the world which is something, I really enjoy. I also was responsible to launch the well know IVAO's Virtual Sky Magazine and till date continue to contribute most of the articles. This magazine has enjoyed a very warm feedback from members across the community with over 10,000-15,000 downloads every edition. Subsequently, I was also elected as a Board of Governor of IVAO and Assistant Secretary of IVAO's legal organisation. This position has helped me to contribute immensely to the future of IVAO and to flight simulation community in general.

Besides experience in a leading online network, I have been fortunate to have experience in some leading flight simulation websites. Around 2006 , I started actively contributing as an editor of Simflight.com's India website and subsequently also contributed as a freeware editor for simflight.com. Now I have been helping Avsim.com as support staff and till about one month back served as a review editor and for about a month have been helping them as a frontpage editor.

Like most of you I too have a desire to setup my homecockpit and it was natural that any research in this area would never be complete untill you visit mycockpit.org. I have not been a vetran here but have been long enough to feel the warmth of the members and desire to help everyone.

I truly hope I would be able to contribute to this great community and looking forward to your support.

Vybhav
