My name is Matt, I signed on this forum in hopes to connect with other simulator builders. I have been playing with computers, electronics and airplanes for a long time. Cant fly anymore so I decided to take my FlightSim to the next level with hardware representation and functionality. Last year I had a 62 inch projection display and 3 17" monitors for the cockpit gauges.

This year Im taking it to another level. Rather or not I am going to use this enclosure idea is up to you guys ;)

It's hard to build somthing without money, the easiest solution would be to purchase everything. But Im too poor for that! :) ( Am disabled from a car accident in 2008 )

Here are a couple of pictures: Comments and ideas are appreciated. !

Welcome Matt,
A very nice setup to start with. You'll be surprised what an old joystick can do when you take it apart!!! When I started with my first pit I had one 15" monitor for the visual and the 2d cockpit view.I used the keyboard and mouse to control most of the FS functions. If I had to add one item to your sim it would be DIY TQ.
Good luck
Phil
