So you fit that category do you ?

Well this seems to be the perfect thing for the WW1 fans. old vintage aircraft parts are rather expensive so i'm guessing this isn't a bad price.

Take a look and its pickup UK, not often once again there are things like this in the UK so thought i'd pass it on for you all.

Theres a nice youtube video on the listing, which is good for reference if nothing else. I wonder if this seller is a member actually .. seems a great builder.

OOOW Matt!
How could you not be a Spitfire man
I was at RAF Duxford about 2 years ago
and saw one of these machines from about 25 yards away as
it was lineing up for takeoff on the grass strip
The wash off the masive prop and the sound of that
Merlin engine was AWSOME
Not a machine but a living breathing beast.
One of thoes things you never forget
Many of us may look at these rare aircraft with a twinge of nostagia
and consider them just out dated WWII aircraft, but believe me
they are far from it. Somthing you appresiate when you see
one in flight for the first time.
The Spitfire just oozes power and grace.

We may think our modern aircraft are the pinicle of design engineering
but after my close encounter with a fully opperational Spitfire , I'm not so sure.

R.J.Mitchel new what perfection was when he drew up the plans
for what is surely one of THE design Icons of the last century.
Go anywhere in the world irespective of language and they know what a
Spitfire is ... Like Concord and err - well ok ELVIS

Hats off to that old boy I hope he gets the price he wants for his hard work
I suspect he had a close encounter like I did .

Mark
