Hey guys,
I know all the different suppliers sell different stuff but i would love to hear everyones opinions on who sells some good quality cheap parts as i am just starting to build my 737.

Some sites are expensive..is this due to better quality?

In Brazil we have 2 shops.

www.brpanels.com.br and www.goldmedalsimparts.com, take a look.

In Spain www.opencockipts.com, this shop have better prices in Europe.

Here we go again!!!!!

Order one small panel from each and make your own decision based on what you get!
Do not rely on pictures nor comments!

This has been debated thousand times ...what Jo finds expensive is affordable for Bill, and what Ted rates as OK, qualitywise, is not good enough for Jo etc etc..

Rule of thumb: you get what you pay for!

One tip: order one radio panel from each of the vendors on your shortlist
This way you will be able to compare and build your radio stack at the same time...

We are the cheapest on the net for what we do.

Big call...but its true.

Send a blank email and we will send you a brochure.

here is an example of some of our gear.

David, The dv window Handle looks amazing! you forgot to add your email address so we can get a brochure but:-?

do you guys at flight facsimile have a website?

David Withers
08-22-2009, 06:56 PM
Thanks teggerfitz, much appreciated.

We do not have a web site....no real need since our brochure seems to be passed on from builder to builder and has all the info needed in it. Although i think a site will be forthcoming as there is just too much email traffic to answer as our business has grown dramatically in the last year. We only ever wanted to make a few small parts for friends..but orders sky-rocketed in the last year.

email for a brochure to flight-facsimile@hotmail.com

We make all kinds of parts at the cheapest price you will find on the net using the same materials and quality of other sites. (We have small overheads that allows us to do this).

teggerfitz did you get the brochure?

David

do the d.u. panel air vents move?

the yoke handles are an amazing idea!!!!!

David Withers
08-22-2009, 07:19 PM
no, the air vents are fixed for the time being..sorry about that.

the yoke handles just make it easier for builders to make exact replicas of Boeing yokes for less cost. We are trying to cater for the builder that has a smaller budget and needs to make as much as he/she can at home themselves.

glad you got the brochure.

I have been using these guys for the past year and they have been fantastic!

Hi Dave,

I know it's best to email, but my shipping box arrived damaged and some parts are scratched. What should I do? Cliff

That is actually a very good tip for me, for when i start a proper pedestal. Its the little tips like this which stick in the mind of a newbie builder like myself.....Jack i have taken onboard quite a bit of advise from yourself. Thanks. How about a top 10 tips for cockpit beginers:p But please dont include the wiring diagram LOL ;)

Dave,

Got my second lot of parts that I ordered in yesterdays mail.

What can I say, they are of outstanding quality, as was the first order.
I am blown away with the product that you and your team are producing.

I can highly recommend these parts to any builder.
You will not be disappointed at all.

My third order has been emailed over to you already.

I have sent you a personal email with praise and thanks but wanted to let others know that you have a professional product being offered to us at an affordable price.

I look forward to doing more business with you.

Everyone, lets get behind people like Dave.
Show him the support, as he is showing us by offering quality components and parts at prices we can afford.

A very satisfied customer.
Best regards

Craig

Thank you craig,

Thats a really great rap coming from a guy who... funnily enough works for Boeing as a training instructor here in Australia.

Glad you enjoyed your last month in the simulator in Newcastle...lucky bugger....can you sneak me in your suitcase next trip?:)

Do you have any pictures you can post here on the site mate?

Many more items in the pipeline. Still a rather nasty backlog in the finished knob department btw.

But... unfinished components ready to go out the door.

Now this is getting really annoying...this guy registered today and in less than 9 hours posted 41 messages to bring simaviatik under attention, now even hijacking threads from others like this one and the one from the revolution throttle.

one time he's an airline pilot and a happy customer, the next time he is a teammember of simaviatik, another time he is asking if anyone has heard about them.

You made your point....i consider this spam !

When i come online i want to see new interesting threads...thats what makes this site such a great place...
I dont want to see the same advertisement over and over and over...

It is a real company, although i can hardly believe they would spam this forum like this. Maybe new owner, new policy.

I made my own, but i've seen the Flight fax ones.
I cant afford anything big at the moment though.

There was an open day a while back and barbecue at the shop and they had items on display.
We saw how they make their products, (although all the wives and kids were less than interested).
In fact my ball and chain was very bored bless her soul. It was very hot that day.

Never seen a real glare shield so i can't answer but they were perfectly finished if that helps.
