Now you see why I like the ERJ's for my flight sim. I think much nicer than Airbus or Boeing:mrgreen:

When you look at the 737, real agree with you, it is outdated and a sort of patchwork, which brings me to build a more streamlined and personnal throttle for mine...will post when done.
As far as the airbus, no, clean and neat too (I think).

Those are the Mice for the computer, touchpad like some laptops. You hold it and your index does the work!
the 777 has them too. I will probably add them to my 737 pedestal, much better than having a mouse somewhere at the back when needed.

That cockpit is indeed very clean but, isn't that where cockpits are all about all the gauges, switches, buttons and levers. That's my opinion but i think a lot of builders agree with me.

They look real good but hard to incorporate hardware!
I think those mice can come handy in a sim, in conjunction with a keyboard located near the Oxy Panel!

Sure, there is more work than doing that. Although just an idea. MArco may not even want the item functional, just an idea for the 'pad' that was all. I understand the quality of just getting a plank of wood and sticking in a laptop pad is far less than buying a product developed by experts. It's just the balance of weighing up the costs you have towards the quality of parts this will get you.

If you want a home made solution, a little bit different in appearance, just incorporate a trackball in your design.
