I want to add the OC module program to the start-up folder, but there is no option to add anything using msconfig.

Sometimes I forget to start this up and then have to go through the hassle of minimizing everything to the desktop to start it.

Anyone know how to do this?

Create a shortcut of the program you want to start on the desktop. Rightclick the startup folder -> explore. Drag the shortcut from the desktop to the startup folder.

Thanks! I'll give that a try right now.

Thanks, but that's not what I needed. ;)

I want this program to start automatically each time Windows boots.

Doesn't it? I mean after doing what Gold described...

Try going into "regedit" (just type "regedit") via "Run..." and lookup the Autostart-part of it. Try googling it and I'm certain you will find it :)

Use regedit and navigate to:

Add a new String value.
Name=<You choose>
Data=<Full path and exe name>

Strange why the startup doesn't work for you?

Hi Michael! Both Goldmember's and the regedit methods should work. Remember to be careful when fiddeling in the register though.

Here's a link to an app called Fsuipc Run Options by Josť Oliveira: http://www.schiratti.com/files/dowson/FSUIPCRunOptions.zip

This app let u automatically start programs when Fs is started. I've found it invaluable for starting apps running on my Fs pc.

On the networked pc's WideFs has alot to offer when it comes to starting applications.
You can start, delay a start and close programs etc. Very handy.

My sim is configured so that i only start Fs and the all the five other computers launch their programs exact in the order i've configured them.

Again kudos to P Dowson.

You mean it did work in the end? Anyhow, here's it more visually:

My appologies Goldmember.

Your method worked just fine. I misunderstood your post and thought you were directing me to place it in the Start Menu.

It's working fine. Thanks.

Got him, thanks.

But in future please also send an alert (report post) to the administrative staff.

Only now found the "report post" icon - it was hiding under a triangle with no accompanying text :roll:

Yeah, we did not want to make it too easy, but reckoned that someone who can build a cockpit can find this little help as well.:lol:

I've deleted already 6 in the past hour. Had hoped to go flying on line tonight but I guess there will be no time left.:(

Thanks for staying alert.
