Yeah.
Thankyou.
The instructor said to me, "do you wanna go solo" so I said yeah.
He sed good, and my heart rate was in the sky before I was.
But when I throttled up I was ok, fantastic.
Thanks again.

Well done!

What is the rental rate of a C150? It has been almost 20 years since I rented one.

Congrats! That's a great moment. Did my first solo in a C-152. I remember being stunned by the boost in climb being alone.

Thankyou.
Yeah I noticed that too.
In the circuit normal with the power set at 2300 rpm trimmed I fly level a
1000ft, when the instructor got out with the same settings, I found my self at 1400ft.

Congratulations mate, that was a big moment for me to, I remember it well but I also remember getting my licence turned out to be a bit of an anti-climax. Taking friends up who didn't want to be thrown around pulling G etc. All the fun tured into flat stable flights trying to keep everyone happy so I went back for aerobatic lessons to lift the fun level again! I gave up on the C150 and switched to C172 soon after which is more powerful and definately more comfortable, try one out!!! (More pax to share the costs too!)

Thanks very much.
Yeah Id like to fly a 172, I got chance to fly to Ireland with the club in a PA 28 and I really loved flying it, stopped off at Caernafon and then on to Dublin.
I bet the aerobatic flying is amazing.
Thanks again.

Congratulations! That is a day you will never forget.

Did they cut off your shirt and write the tail number on it?

They used to do that at some schools in the States like my school, but that was years ago. I don't know if it's still the custom.

Hei.
Congratulation with your Solo. It is a very important day as you will remember.
Had my Solo from Vero Beach VBA, more than 20 years ago.
Flew in a C172 and I forgot the increase in climb rate without the instructor, ended far to high on left dw, found a way out of the mess – how I don’t dare to tell!
Got my license later and you will get yours – that’s for sure.

One of the best moment of your life..trust us...it's true
On mine,(long long ago) as I was on final for that one circuit affair, I saw an airplane popping out of nowhere, just in front of me 200 feet below, totally oblivious to me, and silent on the radio.

Go- around, and my one circuit stunt was a two circuit one.!
Exhilarating anyway!!!

My treatment on landing was a cold water bucket !! Canadian tradition!

You just joined the immense fraternity of people who are always reluctant to throttle back to earth.

Cheers Pal.

I had a similar surprise on my first solo that I'd never had to do during training.

On the downwind about about abeam the numbers the tower had me turn right 360° for spacing. Seems there was this hotshot Learjet approaching me from behind. KCPS tower wanted me out of his way because he couldn't slow to my speed and still fly.

I still remember that like it was yesterday.
