Are you guys kidding me this cockpit is absolutely pristine. All guages everything. Yes 20,000 -25000 is very good deal for that aircraft type in that quality condition. If he sold all those guages instruments etc individually he'd get easily 15000 or more so I really dont think its that ridiculous guys. A piece of crap 1965 Cessna that barely runs cost as much so its a pretty good deal overall.

I still think it is rediculous, as a person who owns a simular project. Then again, with one-off items like this, they go for whatever price you can get for them.

LOL Brian yup I think its ridiculous too as far as im concerned cause I wouldnt pay it :) but im basing it off the amount of people who are selling this unit with this much instrumentation and glass intact it would be a good deal IF! you are looking for this A/C and IF! Its your dream to own one then 26k is pretty cheap to own a piece of history and a dream.Especially if you are a person with a very large bank acct and disposable income and perhaps flew or knew someone who flew this bird in former Soviet bloc it could be an incredible find and worth every ruble :) however in regards to Brian's point if you can get it for 6k-8k then its a steal LOL All in how you view the $$ or the item. I'm sure someone will eventually purchase it for thier asking price. It just won't be me. The warbird pits I've seen on ebay lately have been hovering around $20k. They don't seem to be selling though. ;)
