Hi everyone,

Many threads mention the Markuspilot site but the site seems not available. Anyone now if he has a new site or so? I need some measures pictures and detail as I am building a full functional 737NG throttle. Any help on the subject is welcome.

Best regards,

Send me an email with which measurements you need, as I have downloaded the whole site. Sure he won't mind that.

Juan Cordon's Flight-Deck 737 NG, http://users.skynet.be/jcordon/cockpit/plans.htm, is another good source of 737 dimensional information.

Mark of MarcusPilot has been taking a hiatus from flight simming due to some big events in his personal life. I did speak with him recently, and will be calling him again this week, so I will ask him to post something here for you all.

I believe he will be returning sometime in the future with a new website.

Ive been on Juan Cordons website and had a look at the great drawings etc, the posterize facility is really good, but if you print off the MIP using posterize using the 8x3 format i have noticed that it is not true size as it seems to be a little larger than it really is, so i dont think that this is entirely acurate.

The measure I need now is the width of the throttle body. All the whole width including trim wheels. If you have those measures that is hawsome. I have looked for it everywhere but did not find it.
please send it to jose.a.v.costa@netcabo.pt

Many thanks,

I met up with Mark from "Markuspilot" this week, and he tells me he has been having trouble uploading his site since it went down whilst he was building a new house (old one demolished first). I have asked him to check this forum and post what he can.

We went flying for 3 hours in Matt Sheil's full motion B747-400 sim, and had a ball. Mark is a real world B737 captain, and did have just a little effort to transition to the B747. But he showed off when he kept putting it down on the centreline and within the TDZ :-P:-P

Excellent... say g'day to Mark for me Peter.

Nic, g'day mate. I'll pass that on to Mark next time I talk with him, and hope to see you online for Rolling Thunder.

RE: http://www.markuspilot.com happy to report that Mark has uploaded a cut down version of his site with a new provider/host and all of his measurements are again available.

Just to let everyone know the MarcusPilot site is back up or at least some of it. The measurements section is back up at least which I have found very helpful.

Whoops, the previous post already said that. Oh well,
