Hi All,

Hoep everyone had a great Xmas!!!!

Just a quick question for opinions on whcich to go with, the TH2G or a 30+" widescreen? I am looking for a way to make the scenery/runway larger - something like you see on the back projections etc. I don't have the room to use a projector so I'm looking for an alternative. I'm not too concerned about side views, more with the forward view as that can be ajusted a little bit with the zoom capability.

Thanks

Rob

Hi Rob,

This would work ok.. but you probably wont get the broad runway feel you are looking for with this sort of setup. As long as your expectations aren't too big this should be fine. I am using 106 cm / 42inch televisions with 1280/960 resolution it is wide enough but doesn't look as realistic. Unless you have already bought the 30" screens i would suggest to explore short throw projectors or even rear projection which doesn't require much distance to display a larger image. They might also be less expensive in comparision but also more realistic.

3 720p tvs might be pretty interesting with a TH2G.

Hi

You could try http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/
naturalpoint.com

using either a 32" or 37" FullHD (1920 by 1080 pixels) Monitor.

The 32" would allow you to sit about 16" from the monitor
and the 37" about 20" from the screen.
