That looks cool, my only concern would be graphics acceleration??

I think it would be best to use for the LCD's on your MIP so acceleration wouldn't be an issue.

Matrox excells in 2D video, not 3D. I wouldn't suggest any Matrox video card for flight sim visuals. Their DH2G and TH2G products are wonderful. Thier video cards however simply don't have the ability to do much in 3D.

Matrox produces these quad out video cards for long time now and the M9140 is just an upgrade to the acclaimed QID series. We used a lot for advertisment broadcasting on multiscreen plasma arrays in megastores and shops galleries. So these cards are targeted to the professional appliances, like screen walls, multi view medical and financials applications and video editing. Their pure 3D power is very low and price too much high for using in gaming, even if the powerdesk software easily allow various desktop extensions up to 8 monitors (with 2 cards) and it would have be en nice if they had more Direct3D support.

Here's a sample installation we made in a shop in Rodes, Greece. 4x Frameless 42" LCDs with a Matrox QID 256Mb PCIe.
