Hello All,
I am starting to get some preliminary information together and deciding on 737 or a320, based on what I have read the 737 is a favorite and a bit easier to build. I look forward to speaking with all of you on this lifelong dream and journey of building my own flight simulator.
P.S. Sorry about Manber I meant Member....typo...:)

737 or A320...not really a matter of easier to Build or not.
Two different airplanes to FLY, two different approaches.
You have to find out which one suits you.

Olaf,
The best suggestion that I've given to other people just starting out is, go visit someone who has or is building a simulator. Since you're in Wisconsin, you are welcome to come visit mine. Although, it's rather in pieces, but you'd get to put your hands on stuff. And, that will help your decision making.
I know a couple of other folks in Wisconsin that are also doing the 737 (by the way that is what I'm doing), so I can give you the information to try and visit them as well. As for the Airbus, other Boeings, Learjets, or GA, I'd say try to find someone within each catergory and go visit them.
For the most part, almost every simulator pilot/builder is more then happy to show their work to other individuals that are getting into the hobby. In fact, this sharing helps build more demand and in turn causes more companys to bring more supply to the market, as well as reducing the prices in return...
Send me a PM if you're interested in seeing my Simulator...uh, mess! If you come sooner then later, you can see my RC plane collection as well.
Good Luck,
John
