On vacation for the next 11 days so I made up a list of things to do.

First one on the list was to get this engine start light plate installed. Well, the whole panel had to be re-made, and I'm a little short on switch guards. It turned out pretty good. I'm ordering the switch covers from BBP Surplus.

Light plate is brand new dated 1989. Never installed until today.

There'll be more posted in the coming days.

I drilled a hole in the wrong position, but it hides OK after install.

All lit up:

I used a Korry socket and an indicator lamp cap base for my home made indicator.

As installed in the 727:

Looks fantastic.

I vividly recall looking over every inch of a 727 cockpit as a kid. I'm watching your progress with interest.

Thanks Tony. What are you building?

I never wanted fly or build anything but a 727, come **** or high water I was going to have one. I still have a lot of work, but it's coming along.

It's a little tough with it not being supported, but on the upside parts are cheap. That new lightplate was $9.95. Probably in the neighborhood of $300 for Boeing.
