Raymond, welcome aboard.
Hi, if you're new to aviation, and not a builder, and would like to learn about PC aviation this is not the place to be. Although some will definitely be willing to help. www.avsim.com or www.flightsim.com would be a good place to start.
Otherwise, stick around, we'll help you build a sim :) :) :)
Good luck,
Matt Olieman

Raymond,
Step 1:
Take the flying lessons in Microsoft Flight Simulator. You will learn quite a bit.

Raymond,
The student pilot guides by the FAA are available online for free:
http://www.faa.gov/library/manuals/aviation/
The Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge is the book used by a great many starting general aviation student pilots.
