No pit pictures, but 3 dirty screen shots showing last night's quick flight from KAYS to Tallahasee and then from Tallahassee to Jacksonville using the latest version of the PMRJ software.

Fired up the LJ45 and took off to the West from KAYS, reminding all the virtual folks on the ground that some guy's virtually rich enough to own his own Learjet in this small town :-)

Climbed up in just a few short minutes to 16500 and then it was back down again to make my Approach into Tallahassee.

Once on the ground, we taxied over to Flightline FBO to pick someone up. We barely shut the engines down and got the door open before it was time to go again. I'd like to say this shot looks like the ones I got the day I got to actually sit in N430FX, a FlexJet LJ45!

On the ramp picking up one passenger for the trip back to the east coast of FL...

After taking on our passenger we lit up the sky blasting back to the east coast, a 25 minute ride to KJAX.

After getting those two additional projectors last week, I can hardly wait to get a TH2Go. Although Im still using my self-made LJ45 panels, I have a blast flying this thing! I am about to get busy getting back to work on my Flight Simmersion/Innovative L45 nose shell and cant wait for the InnovativeFSP panels to arrive!

Thanks Matt. I think the next local flight will be from AYS down to OCF to pick you up and we will make a run for KRSW and take the car over to Sanibel Island. I always see it on the Travel Channel, how's that sound!? :-)

*BTW, dont be surprised if the next version or so of MSFS has a vehicle and road sim built in. The newest version of MS Train Sim has the ENTIRE US database of rail network in it and is to be released in the future. I see no reason why they couldnt do it for MSFS, (although it may be bad/good for the sim!)

The "logical" place for Microsoft to go with this series (Flight Sim, Train Sim, and Boat Sim, etc.) is to have the sim world as one single package. You buy "The World" as a base pack. Then if your interest is flying, you buy the add on pack that adds all the planes and airports and flight dynamics and such to the base World. If you are into trains.... you buy the train package. If you are into combat flight sims.... you get the combat version of flight sim with munitions effects. Maybe there are "army war games" versions that are combat but not specifically flight sims. And so on.

It is all dependent on processor speed and graphic card capabilities. And those are taking leaps every day.

Look at the new commercial sim platform they are working on. That seems to be where it is all going.

best,

German Airports add-on has this now in the airport area with moving vehicles on the Autobahn and all major roads as well as most minor roads.

The Ultimate Terrain series has this as well without the moving vehicles.

I like your idea John. Hope they come up with something like this that doesn't take Super Blue to run.
