Nice work Phil!

Are you gonna show us how you made the mechanical part work or is this a Northernflightsim secret?

I am still looking for a good solution to genarate realistic friction on my real 737 quad.

Regards,

Mike

Remove the cover plates on the throttle housing and replace the rubber dust guards with a stiffer rubber from McMaster-Carr.

Make it tight enough to provide the required resistance.

It comes in various thicknesses and duro-hardnesses. Try about an 80 at 3/32" or 1/8".

I've checked the video (original link is busted but I searched for "clutch auto throttle" on mycockpitvideos) and it doesn't seem to be playing. Showing 0:0 for time and just says "Loading..." forever.

You have a new link Phil?

Hey Phil or any one with a clutch set-up...

Does anyone know what kind of motors and clutch Northern Sim uses?
or any other clutch available?

Thanks,

Nat

post for Philb737 : i also have a 737 throttle from Art, altough is makes much more noise when the trim wheels spin then yours.
Is yours also made with a chain ?
have you got an idea haw i can make the sound of the wheels the same as your throttle. I asked Art but it is the same made he says.
thanks
Philippe.
