Hi Darren,

I am also using FS-Communicator. I may be able to help you out with setting up your joysticks.

Cheers

Hello, Okan.
Could you tell 2 things?

1) How do I configure the software to change views using the POV hat on my joystick? When i open the 'DirectX Joystick Config' menue I see that the POV 0 is not mapped. How do I go about mapping it so I can change views (as you would if the joystick is connected to the FS9 computer)?

2) How do I programme the buttons on the joystick? I realise I have to use NQW but that's all I know!! For example, how would I use button 1 on the joystick to apply the brakes?

I hope you can point me in the right direction.

All the best,

Darren Sugden

Hi !

Would you guys mind to share about sending buttons through FSC to FSUIPC?

Thanks!

Hi Suggy, Louis,

the trick with FSCOMMUNICATOR and the buttons consist of the following.
in version 17 of fscommunicator you can assign nqw to the buttons of the
joystick but in fact I did that only for the push priority switch on the sidestick
all the other buttons on the stick are defined in the FSUIPC on the FS PC.
WideFS scans the buttons and send all button presses to the FS PC.
There you can define almost anything to the button presses.
