Hi there, what a great site this is.
Im collecting info to build my first cockpit.. believe it or not I have already built the cabin in my bedroom,(hence the lazy pilot). My cabin has business class seats overhead bins.dado panels, even 4 window mouldings with 4 monitors running a great screensaver http://free.firmtools.com/clouds/
I have authentic cabin furnishings, oxygen mask, mealtrays, cabin signage, the works. People who visit me, ask, HOW ON EARTH DID YOU MANAGE TO GET THAT THING IN HERE.
The builders who have section 41 shells on this site are my heros.
My dream is a generic boeing, 787 like shell, Im going to experiment with tape and resin, and a rather slimmed down instrument interior.
I am always finding interesting bits on the street,(dumpster diving)
What looks like a piece of junk to someone else, looks like a possible aircraft fixture to me. I will post pics of my cabin soon.
greeting from amsterdam Aerobello

aerobello,

Welcome to Mycockpit.org.

What a treat and inspiration it would be to see your setup. I agree, what some people throw away always can have a place in the right spot in an aircraft.

Great stuff,

Please feel free to post pictures of your (Bedroom) LOL in our gallery.

Best regards,

Trev
