Hi although im building a Boeing 737 i stumbled across a pair of landing lights on ebay for airbus so i bought them as they are so hard to come across cheap and i got 2 for £6.80 inclusive of postage.

However i recieved them and they look to have 3 leds alike to the boeing 3 pearl spheres on them and i was wondering if they do light up. the landing light switches i have are from a real airbus A319 and wondered if you airbus builders out there will obviously be able to put me in the right direction on this one.

Also if they do light up what voltage, i dont want to blow the cirbuit as i had a frustrating experience this morning in doing so with something else  i would guess aircraft avionics in being 24v?

replies appreciated

Hi there,

following is something someone told me ... wether it is true or not I dont know...
the three half spheres in the landing lights would contain some very low radioactive
substance which makes it light up in darker environment...
wether this is correct or not .... I don't know....
