No shell, but I need some welcome opinions

Good or bad, I need some input on the angles that I've used to get this winds screen frame and #4 eyebrow window mounted.

This isn't by any means permanent and can be changed with new screw holes.

That's a real PPG manufactured Boeing 727 #4 eyebrow window in that frame, but because of the compound angles I can't tell whether anything is correct. The skinny center support is way too far back, but I stuck it in there for a reference to the center of the glareshield.

The left window frame is supposed to be outboard of the glareshield but I have a wall right there and can't get it outboard any farther than it is right now. I could fudge it if needs be by cutting it short and attaching it directly to the wall to create the illusion.

Any opinions, comments, suggestions, etc, etc, are very welcome. I can't get a shell in this room and no where else to move it to, so I'm going to build it from the overhead on down to the floor to the left from the inside out.

It's difficult to tell if this looks right with only half a cockpit and without the rest of it there.

After studying another dozen photos I found that the right edge of that window does not parallel the left side of the overhead. I need to move the window so the bottom edge is even with the top of the windscreen frame.

I didn't realize those windows actually angle outward from the overhead. It's tough getting acurate photos of this to compare.

It is really tough to reconstruct the original shape by looking at photos. I am sure that you know what I am talking about;).

I am waiting for my aft overhead, and when that is in place, the roof needs inside covering:). Lots of work. But a good challenge:)

Yes, it is tough to judge angles and positions from photos as I've found out. I'm going to move this window when I get home from work tonight and do another comparison with the photos.

Not too many pictures of this in detail. It would make for a boring photo shoot.

What is even harder is if the pictures were taken with the camera on a little angle itself, this throws the perspective right off.

It might be easier to scrap the whole kit-n-kaboodle and build a bigger room then build a new sim....:roll: :D ;)

There's no where else left to build in the house. I don't think I'm quite ready to scrap it and start over.

I moved the window parallel with the windscreen frame. Make quite a difference when sitting under it.

It's strange how the camera picks up on the different angles depending upon position.
