Hi,

I'm wondering how many different styles of backlighting (colours) are used on a320's in the real world?

From photos and of simpit products, I've noticed the following styles:

1) Orange (pumpkin) backlighting on FCU and OH

2) Yellowish orange on FCU and OH

3) Some overheads have Green BK on some panels, some do not.

4) Whitish backlighting on FCU -- i.e, new CP flight FCU.

5) Hard White FCU figures or Soft White or Orange.

Which scheme is the most accurate and the most up to date?

Is the White backlighting used on newer a320's?

I'm asking this in order to choose the correct scheme.

Thanks
Aqua

Whilst I can't answer the question I would take into account the different cameras and settings used. This can cause a problem rendering 'true' colours.
Many digital cameras can be set to a 'white balance' and this will affect the overall colouring of the image. Film cameras can equally be affected by the type of film used and any filters on the lens.
