Hi all,

I am new to the site. As I posted in my introduction, I am 48 and have decided since I have been involved with flight simulation since the advent of FS95, that it is finally time to attempt to build my dream "toy". I have been able to gleen a bunch of information from the site already. I do have a couple of questions that I was hoping someone could answer for me as I continue to document my plans.

Does anyone know the inside width of the 757 cockpit (that is from bulkhead to bulkhead) just behind the pilot's seats? Obviously the width diminishes as it continues toward the nose, but I can calculate that mathematically if I know the width starting behind the seats.

My other question is, what size are the monitors for the artifical horizon and course screens in the glass pit? Also, are they commercially available and if so at what approximate cost? I am trying to avoid having to use full size monitors behind the panel.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I am trying to avoid having to use full size monitors behind the panel.

In many cases it's cheaper to use one full size monitor vs. a couple of small video monitors.

Thanks BH, I never thought of it that way, but I believe you are on to something there. Thanks for the tip.
