Quick question for all:

How many Power Supply Units are you using to power - Pedestal, TQ,FMC, MIP, MCP and OVHD?
This is to cover LED's, switch inputs, 7segs and interface cards...

Curious

Currently I'm using one 5VDC @ 40A for all lightplates on the MIP, overhead and control stand.

One 12VDC @ 5A for some overhead indicators.

One 24VDC @ 5A for Korry indicators, some Gables equipment, and glareshield incandescent lighting.

One computer power supply will work for 95% of the cockpits out there. Just put a switch between the green wire and any black wire (24pin connector)on an ATX psu to power it up.

Since i am using real parts, i have a little more in my system, 28Vdc, 5Vdc, 28Vac, 5Vac, 115Vac. My power company likes me. :)

Currently got a 400w PSU and was hoping I could get away with just that but noticed that some folks were using more than 1...
