Hi everyone
I have been working hard at trying to secure a real MD-82 or Dc 9 flightdeck and have called a few suppliers. I hope to restore one to its original state and would appreciate any input. Looked at one located in Miami and if it wasn't for the transportation cost of bringing it home I would have seriously considered it.

Where are you located? There are a bunch being scrapped now, the desert area might have a bunch of what you need for a low cost.

My suggestion would be to call Desert Air Spares. They've supplied custom cut cockpit sections for several simpit builders. I've mostly seen 737's from them but I'm sure they have other models. I almost bought a 737-200 cockpit that was very complete from them awhile back for $2500.

Good luck with Desert Air Spares, the guy dosen't seem to want to deal. He has all this stuff sitting around but wont part with it. He wanted 25,000.00 for a 767 flightdeck which I KNOW has been sitting on site for a year.

Yeah, if these part guys dont get the price they want.. they wont part with their inventory. I would really be interested in some 767 stuff, but they are in hot demand and would cost alot.

Thanks to all who responded to my inquiry for an MD-82 flightdeck. I have made contact with Dessert air spares and at that time it was reported that he did not have any. My hope is to find a supplier closer to home or have it cut to a size where I could pick it up on a flat bed.
