Hello everybody,
I noticed that - with the default settings - Thomas Richter's nice Fuel Handle utility burns some 180 lbs of fuel per hour.
I'd like to increase that rate to 230 pph: anyone knows how to modify that ?
Regards,
Eugenio.

I am sure Thomas will be able to answer that question directly. Stay tunned.

Hi
Just go to my page http://www.technical-service-richter.com/ to Download section, scroll down to Free Software and download the Setup. The Version on the Page is not changed now, but it is now Version 1.0.1.56.
The max set value is now doubled. Enough? ;)

Thank you very much, Thomas.
I will gladly put your nice utility to use ...
By the way, what is the refueling rate ?
Is it something fix or can it be set/modified by the user, and how ?
Does refueling need to be stopped manually, or can this happen automatically ?
Do you think that - with the state of art of PMSystems 737 logics - it would be possible to compensate for fuel unbalance (not the one produced by the APU sucking fuel from left tanks, which is moderate) by opening the xfeed valve and shutting down left fuel pumps ?
Thanks and regards,
Eugenio.

I've been doing this with my cockpit and the standard PMsystems 737 logics from Thomas for many months, so I am sure it is still possible! ;-)

I see.
But one thing is the standard 737 logics, and one other thing is Thomas' (or Peter's, or Eugenio's) version of it ... which I don't know of, unless is made available for download somewhere on the net.
I know, for example, that somebody already wrote the PMSystems code lines for the six pack - master caution - master fire ... but it is not found in the current "official" 737 logics !!!
I think this forum could be a potential place for this kind of sharing, provided that neither one is much too jealous of his work, nor he needs to make money from it.
I would say - but maybe I'm wrong - that with the latest official version of PMSystems you don't get a stop in left fuel tank consumption if you shut down both left fuel pumps, open the xfeed valve, and leave the right tank feed both engines ...
... and boy, I'd really love to be wrong, this time !

Works like it should, BUT if you use FSX you ned to check your aircraft.cfg that it is not set to only ONE fuel-selector (default setting), it has to be set to two.

Nope, I'm still in love with good ole FS9 ...
Two last questions about Fuel_Handle:
a) Which unit of measure is indicated for consumption ?
I set it to 90 for the left tank to get a desidered rate of approx. 230 pph.
b) Is there a way to influence and lower the refueling rate ?
It is currently set to about 4000 pph, and it's two times the 737 filling rate capacity, which I read to be 2025 pph from Bulfer's Cockpit Companion.
Obviously, it would be nice to stop refueling when a given overall quantity is reached ...

No Unit, just a percent value.

It is as well a percent value, will see to half it.

Just Download the version x.57 and take a look to the ini file!
