Got this yesterday for my birthday. Now i have the matching set, Overhead, Glare, and MIP from a Glass 727-100. I'm getting excited!!!
Lots of work to do now. Keep your eye out for me on some displays. The openings are 6" wide and 5" tall or 7" diag. I want a standard vga input display, no TV out on my card.
Thanks,
Rob

Very nice! You going to use monitors behind them? What do you have for room? Can we see a shot of the back?

Are those actual panels from the plane or cut-outs?

Regardless, they look fab.

Here are a couple of pics, one of the rear of the mip, 7 1/4" side clearance

The other is the co-pilot pnl sitting on the mip stand.

I started building my 737NG as it has been a plane I always liked, long before I joined MC.org and long before I found out it was probably the easiest plane to simulate. I much admire you guys for building the 727 with all the problems you are up against, I have to admit it is still one of the prettiest airliner shapes there is. I saw one in 2003 at the Australian International Airshow in 2003 at Avalon, Victoria. It is still operated by the Royal New Zealand Airforce who demonstrated it. They flew it along the runway clean at 280knots and pulled it up into a vertical climb with vapor coming off the tops of the wings, then rolled it onto it's side before pulling a knife edge turn back to where it came from. It was astounding to see a big airliner doing manouveres like this and it blew me away. Later in the day a 737 did similar moves. You guys should buy the video "Flying Heavy Metal" by Bruce ****inson, he is the lead singer of Iron Maiden and is also a qualified 757 pilot and aviation nut like us. It's a great video and he gets to fly a 727, the PIC even lets him land it!

Boeings rock! (I'm told the French are making aeroplanes aswel!) :-)

Would this be a close example of that? http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=0213187&size=L&width=1024&height=780&sok=&photo_nr=

Hey Rob,

Happy Birthday! Say, did you get the emails I sent you? Let me know if you did or not, and if want to trade? By the way, the panels you got look awesome...

Thanks,

John
