Strange: After updating the Navdatas in the PM CDU folder I have now on the IDENT page in LSKR2 the old navdatas as active and in LSKR3 the new ones.
Everytime I start I have to paste the new ones by pressing LSKR3 into the scratchpad and insert them the into LSKR2 to make the new datas active.
Any clue, why always both of them are displayed, and the old ones as active?
Appreciate your help
René

Is the starting date of the new ones passed? Maybe it is relating the dates of the cycles with the date set in your system clock?

Hello Pete,
Negative Pete I totally agree with René, I've the same issue. AIRACS Version 0711 and FSUIPC 4.20 installed on the PC. ;)

Normaly the standard setting in the CDU is that the Airac database covering the present period is active as default. It is normal that 2 databases are shown, the older one or the newer one (depending on period). Maintenance is setting the available data always sometimes in advance. The crew can select what they need by pressing the LSKs (via scratch path) as it can be that you have to change the database for the return flight (certainly for longhaul flights).
But standard active is the one covering the present date. This is the real life situation.
In PM I also noticed that you have the choice, but I'm not sure if this is just eye-candy stuff or if really the 2 databases stays available, as when updating the Airac cycles files, as far I know, we are overwriting the present data files. I will check this one with Enrico or Jonathan.

... and FSUIPC 4.20 installed on the PC.
FSUIPC won't have anything to do with PM CDU Navdata!

Pete,
I know FSUIPC don't have anything to do with the PM CDU NavData; it was only to answer at your question related with the date set !!
