Enrico's to-do list must be quite long, I guess, and who knows which place - in terms of priority - this (Boeing CDU missing messages) is gonna take ...
I'm aware that there is more than one aspect of the Boeing CDU software that needs his attention.
I'll try to point out some other here on the forum.
Let's (fly and) hope.
Three greens to y'all,

We were talking about some missing CDU messages ...
I guess there is no documentation available in order to see exactly which ones have already been programmed in the CDU software by Enrico and which are still missing.
So I can only talk about some messages that I think I never saw.
Did you ever happen to see these examples show up during your flying activity ?
1) APPRCH VREF NOT SELECTED
2) ARR N/A FOR RUNWAY
3) CHECK ALT TARGET
4) DES PATH UNACHIEVABLE
5) ENTER IRS POSITION
6) LOC CAP ACTIVE
7) NOT ON INTERCEPT HEADING
8) OVERSPEED DISCONNECT
9) PATH DES NOT AVAILABLE
10) RESET MCP ALT
11) RW/APP CRS ERROR
12) RW/APP TUNE DISAGREE
13) TAI ON ABOVE 10° C
14) THRUST REQUIRED
15) UNABLE NEXT ALTITUDE
16) VNAV DISCONNECT
List was chosen among some not too strange cases ...
Cheers,
Eu

Maybe a new thread should be opened to keep cover this topics title ?
This topic initially started about a single message not being send to the Engravity hardware cdu by Project Magenta. The message was being showed by the software CDU, but not send to the hardware cdu.
Now we are discussing messages not even incorporated in the cdu software. Totaly different problem/topic.
Im in favour of keeping topics clean :-)
Please also keep in mind that the guys from Project Magenta never claimed that their software is a 100 % replica to the real deal.
i quote from their website:
Important: this software is in no way affiliated to or endorsed by Airbus, Boeing or any other aircraft or avionics manufacturer. It hasn't been designed or accredited for training purposes. In no way is the software reflecting specific aircraft systems in their entirety.
I know these guys are working hard to make it as real as possible, so please gents, lets give them a break. They never promised 100% accurate systems, so thats not something we can demand from them either.
Lets just wait and enjoy every improvement.
I dont want to start a flame war.
I know there have been alot of problems and there still are some problems, but people are working hard to solve them.
Sometimes the PMbashing just gets too much.

Hi Stef. I agree with you 1000%! And yes I think we should start a new thread for this. I too would like to see trying to keep treads clean and on topic.
P.S.
There will be NO flame war on this post!!!!!!

Hey guys, please don't read me wrong !
I have been in touch several times with Enrico, Jonathan and - more recently - with Thomas too ...
I know that Project Magenta's mission is about "Flight Simulation Training Software" ... it's clearly written, it's part of their logo !!!
I also know that there are no claims of completion; then, you only need to know exactly what is there and what it isn't (yet). Making lists in both directions shouldn't hurt anybody, nor convey the message that you're "bashing" the developer ...
Maybe, when you look at the software release version on the CDU "IDENT" page, you may be tempted to think that the replica has caught up with the original to that precise extent, but this seems to be a deceptive thought.
More than once we are reminded that this or that particular missing feature is not at the top of the developer's priorities for the time being, so the only thing we have is the hope that - sooner or later, if ever - what we specifically care about will get to that level of priority and will deserve programming time and efforts.
More than once I have personally expressed my appreciation to Enrico & his folks, and I guess they know by know that I am a "fascinated" and proud Project Magenta user ...
Think that I bought almost ALL the PM Software (Systems, Boeing Complete Set, Airbus Complete Captain side, and RJ), included those modules that I wasn't sure I would put to use !!!
So I am quite confident about my own feelings towards the PM Team, maybe a little impatient to see things progress ... but would never put unnecessary pressure.
