    Ast A320

Hi guys anybody using the Air Sim Tech A320 advanced software?

The website is a little vague with details! If anybody has a review of it or any more information please post.

    Thanks

    Hi Ben,

I have been looking into it and discussing it with another a320 builder - Frans Mosmans.

Frans is doing beta testing of it and recommends it highly. It seems that the intention is for it to be complete pretty much straight away, even though at present they are finalising the FMGC - i.e. already early release available but remaining functions to be added.

They are also working on the FBW parts and intend to have these released soon also.

Based on Frans' recommendation, I am very tempted to switch but it would be another big financial investment so I have to consider carefully. I would hate to be in a situation where I bought it and then that either PM get things together or that AST is not all that better than pm.

Unfortunately, they do not offer a demo version so you can't try before you buy.

I'm still undecided but one thing I am sure about, it is important to me to have a320 software that is as accurate and complete as possible and if AST was the only way to get it, I would take the hit and buy it. Just waiting a little to see what happens with pm.

    /Ryan.

    Hi Roberto,

yes I saw that too. I wonder though can it be used with WideFS or is it intended to run solely within FS?

I could not see that information on the web site.

    /Ryan.
