Fly through the eye of a hurricane.

I was wondering if there was a way to recall METAR data from 2005's hurricane season through FS9's dyanamic or staic weather, i.e. if i were to choose the date of the event and select static weather mode would I see the hurrcaine? Or is there another way to simulate a hurricane. I have two wxr and a P-3 Orion, I'd like to put them through there paces.

My understanding of fs2004's weather engine is that it really does not model a hurricane well at all.

However supposedly FSX WILL do that.

All you need is a Cray and some liquid nitrogen and you can run it.
