    Paul's Overhead

A quick view of my overhead in place for lighting and mounting tests:

I'm still waiting for some parts to finish, and then touch up the paintwork!

Once done, the eyebrow panels go back, and then it is on to the MIP rebuild and new pedestal.

At present, I can still fly, so I also added a nice view of Lisbon, taken on Saturday with my new birthday present Nikon.

The next maintainance session will be more intensive, and probably mean a few months of hangar time!

    LOL,

But just the feel of the click of the switches....and reaching up to make the ding dong work in pm sounds! - With FlightDeck companion, it also gets the fasten seat belts announcment, in Spanish and English!

Who cares if it takes me me more than I care to admit to make the Nº 2 engine start?

End of May is my 2nd anniversary from buying my first CH bits, and making the box.

PS - anyone else seen the SimMarket site - Dont you just wish you had made a train simulator? - Sitting in small packing case travelling through the Swiss Alps, or Bavarian forests? - No ding dong, just a satisfiying WHOOOO!

I know that thrill you felt when you flipped that first switch.

The first time I did an actual engine start from my overhead and turned on the fuel flow from my throttle I couldn't keep from laughing out loud.
