    Engine start

Hi Dodiano just a quick question if you wouldn't mind!

Do you know roughly what figure the N1, N2 and EGT values spool up to while the engines are being started before they go back to idle?

Also how long is the start sequence for each engine from the second you turn the engine master switch to on until the engines are stable at idle?

    Thanks very much!

Oh Dude they do go way up then back again but don`t remember let me see if I can take a video of that cause I do not have figures! I think I have a video of an engine start Sequence let me get back to you on that!!

Ok the Engine start Sequence Roughly lasts around 2 minutes per engine from the Engine master till they are at idle!!

    Hope it helps!

Ok had a flight today, ok basically it took 1 minute and 21 seconds for the engines to start this is an A-319 and a brand new one so depends a lot on software ambient temperature etc... N1 Values went up to around 26% the N2 went up to 64% and then down to Idle parameters... Egt goes up of course and then goes down that is the value that is raised the most basically.

    Take care,

    Roberto
