Another question Please. I've noticed that trottles and trim wheels can be set up to move via some kind of motor while set to auto trottle and auto pilot. Could you help me understand how this works

When building home built throttles, or modifying real aircraft equipment, you can install servo's or Stepper motors. These , motors can be controlled through a vast majority of I/O Suppliers cards. One of the most popular suppliers is Phidgits.

Servos. I have some of those in my RC Plane. They must be bigger ones needed for trottle and spoilers.

Can you tell me what is the first card of board I will need for the set up of my 737NG.

I can tell you that I was looking at the 4 servo motor controller board. You can purchase the servo's cheaper if you go direct through an RC dealer. You will require a servo that will move the weight of your throttles and potentiometers. I am told you will also require a Phidgits relay module to disconnect power from the servo's when autothrottle is disengaged, this will allow you to move them manually when not required.

Have a look in the Phidgits forum, I was just explained this in a thread labled 4-servo controller.
