    Mycockpit.org Pokeys PoRelay8 and solenoid

    Hi.
I just ordered the Pokeys57 with the PoextBus. What I got was the latest version of PoExtBus, the PORealy8, things are a bit different (should be easier) so i could not figure it out how it would work. I am going to make the solenoid release the parking brake, start switches and so on. Going to configure with Prosim as well. Help Anyone?

    Re: Pokeys PoRelay8 and solenoid

Solved. Pokeys support helped me out as well as other forums. It is still needed to connect the power in serial for each relay. The output for the relays don't provide any active power! To make solenoid turn on or off using the PoRelay8 card, you must connect the solenoid and relay output in series to the power supply (the relay output basically acts as a switch).

Thanks to Pokeys support and Archen for this forum:
