then it should be c:/a320fmgs/wxr shared full permission
i can access wxr folder from my as16 laptop read write clear
did follow your tutorial
as16 log said files copied to sim.....i guess weather data copied to fsx system folder....but didnt copy to fmgs wxr folder

Hi Fritz, when using the CFM model aircraft I assume you have selected CFM model in AP/FBW coefficient external program and also selecting the right project airbus aircraft?

Triple click sound is when HDG mode is set to open mode when AP is engaged I believe.

Everything was set correctly for the CFM model. Perhaps it has something to do that the flight model
is installed on the visual PC and AP/FBW is installed on the client?
In any case, I have tested the aircraft.cfg and the air file from version 47.0. Was a perfect landing.

The HDG mode was set to managed mode. Is this new?

One last thing -- make sure there really is stormy weather or else no dat files are written.

You said you are using FSUIPC -- make sure ASNwxRadarPath= is disabled .

I always thought AP/FBW had to be run on the same computer as FSX/P3D?

The triple click sound was implemented since 48.1:

On the visual PC only Master FSX/P3D PC is installed.
AP/FBW is installed to the client. This is done by the installer.

if there's no stormy weather there will be no dat files ? if sky clear no wxr radar display also ?

There will every time be WXR*.dat in the WXR-folder when FS is running.

since updating to 48.2.2 I now also have strong stuttering on my PFD/ND. Not possible to fly manually.Joystick input also is having strong delay. It was all fine with B47.6.

I rolled back to B47.6. but my performance problems, that suddenly came with the last update are still there. So I guess, the update was not the real problem. However, I really have strange effects since two days that don't let me sleep. Can you please help:
1) not only the joystick input has strong latency from time to time. Also other inputs from my Skalarki MCDU, or adjustments in my FSCockpit FCU are taking effect only after about 10 -30 seconds. It's ok in one minute, but the next minute, the latency is back.
2) my FPS in cruise dropped from 30 to 10. All of my 4 cores are constantly at 100%, although I am at the gate with just basic settings. I don't believe it was that high before. It was running smooth in every case.

3) last but not least and very strange - the MCDU screen was showing different colours. What is supposed to be yellow, was pink. The flightplan was blue instead green. Going back from AIRAC 1709 to my previous AIRAC (old one from 1511) solved that.

What could cause this mess? I think, a clean reinstall of FMGS server would be an idea. Any other ideas? Or tipps for a clean reinstall?

The weather radar only reports precipitation....so only when there are rain clouds.

I can go to badbadweather ( http://www.badbadweather.com/ ) to find weather conditions you can test the radar with.

Hi Ben, I am using FSX. FMGS and FSX on Server PC. PFD/ND on client pc - nothing else running on this one. It was perfectly smooth before - with max settings for scenery.

It's really strange. Now even after rolling back to B47.6, the performance isn't as good as before. The only thing I changed, was updating the AIRAC and tried to distribute via Dieter's Tool. That brought up some error messages and FMGS was not working anymore. So, that was the point , when I made the update on B48...

@Dieter, will drop you a note. I probably made some mistakes in setting up the tool.
