Link2FS doesn't require FSUIPC.

I have the unregistered version of FSUIPC and although I have not tried the fsuipc tab on the expert section LINK2FS, I have tried the controls tab with success.

Re: FSUIPC - registered version needed to use expert section of link2fs?
Yes, it is possible to use the fsuipc tabs and the controls tab with an unregistered version of fsuipc. One has to be careful to open link2fs after fsx/fsuips as Jim has clearly written.... Shame in me
kind regards,

Version 3 will include GSX handling (done by LUA keypress). So if the engines are both off, parking...
