Yes.. and many more other Codes are Missing too i assume. That´s why i am not installed the VRM Generator 5.7 as i read in the Release Notes about the Change to internal Database.
I stay by the older Version! It is easier to add missing ICAO´s to a txt.File as waiting for implementation. Better the old System will return back!

    Re: ICAO Airline Additions

I don't think that there are a lot of codes missing. And if they are I will add them. It is just a matter of time.

Note that only codes of airlines that are currently operating are of importance for PSXseeconTraffic users. And also note that for a lot of smaller airlines there is little chance that you will find a livery.

Staying with an old version is not a very wise decision in my opinion while you will miss all improvements and new functionalities. But it is your decision, no problems with me.

I think I might implement a checkbox with which you can switch of the icao airline validity check. I think that that would be a better and easier solution than the old system with files.

    Re: ICAO Airline Additions

    Thanks for Info.
There are indeed a lot of missing Codes. At everytime after a Flight is done- i check the PSXseeconTraffic Log-File - and install the missing Liveries. Now i am at 85 to 90 percent of coverage.
And everytime i do that - i had to fill some Missing Codes in the VRMGenerator_Data Folder.
(I always check before in Wikipedia - if the Airline is in use and not abandoned).
I feel you underrate that circumstance - please let the txt.File and bring it back on next Version.
    Thanks - Bye

    Re: ICAO Airline Additions

You better first solve all the errors that VMRgenerator reports. If it turns out that VMRgenerator misses a valid Airline code, just report it to me. I'll put these in and you are ready.

    Re: ICAO Airline Additions

To add: I started to collect registration data on my website. http://www.ai-repaints.com/psxseeconreg.html#top

Private live aside (very young children) I will try to add a couple each day. I have now a close to 100% hit at EHAM. Data is coming from airframers.org which is not 100% reliable but I will try to filter out any errors where possible.

    Best regards,

    Arjen

Nico, I disagree with you unfortunately there are still alot of Airline codes missing in your database especially in the far east and russian area.
I as well look into the Web if the code is valid which is displayed in traffictool.
I spend days now to get the airline and aircraft codes right in the cfg files and still get alot of error messages.....

Give you 2 examples....MD80 and MD87 are still valid Aircraft codes but you generator gave me an error message "invalid AC code"
only by editing the aircraft.cfg to a wrong code ie MD85 no error message.

Therefore I would also like to have data folder back.

with 5.9 are even more error messages than I had with 5.8
I'm still using 5.3 and all works!

To my knowledge MD80 is an invalid code, try this site. MD87 is in VMRGenerators database. MD85 is not in my database, while it is invalid.

Therefore I would also like to have data folder back.
That will not happen, please just give me a list of the codes you miss, can't be too much work for you. Would be a nice contribution to our community so it will work for all, and not just in your icao files with additions.

with 5.9 are even more error messages than I had with 5.8
That seems impossible to me, 5.9 is 5.8 + some 20 new airline codes.
