    B737 MCP bank angle knob mechanism

    I would like to know how you guys have been designed bank angle mechanism, im using encoder for heading and stepper switch for bank angle.

    I use a single encoder with push button. Push and turn changes bank angle. Turn without push changes HDG.
    I was looking into hardware for EFIS, needing a switch for the outer dial and encoder and push button for inner dial.
    Elma makes a dual concentric switch that is available without the inner switch but still has the hole in the shaft that you could run an encoder thru. Elma's stuff is expensive though.

    Elma switch is looking just what i need, now i need to find cheap copy of it or figure out own design Any diy ideas are welcome!
