    Home Cockpit Building with Mobiflight

    Hi,

I have started building my home airbus home cockpit with Mobiflight FSX interface software. I had successfully run the autopilot panel 7 segment display but after sometime the display disappears and again i need to close and restart the Mobiflight software. Then recovers my setting.

    Can anyone help me

Did you ever find a resolution to this? I’m having the same problem.

hello everyone, i had the same problem, the solution was to put a separate 5v source only for the displays,7 segments, because each display has a resistor that reduce the voltage to another one, when chain conecction, butt pay attention, you must to connect only the GND TO ARDUINO BOARDS, the +5v connect to 7 segment separate, one +5v to each display.

So just to be clear...you connected a seperate +5v source to each 7-segment display from somewhere else besides the arduino board and then ran just GND to the boards from the arduino? Also when you chained them together, is it essentially one long board or are there gaps inbetween the boards?

exactly, you connect only the +5v in each module of 7,segment, and separate, each conecctions from de power suply not chained, only chain the data, and the GND from the power suply to arduino board GND for reference.
    i have a youtube video showing this....SOUZAELS.
    I expected to help you.
