    Backlighting Panels

    Hi Guys,

I am just in experimental phase on my sim, I've purchased the overhead lighting panel, korry, off\on switches. I panel from opencockpits has three layers engraved front back and a further back panel.

My question is around how to back light the panel, I'm keen to see what everyone else has done in the past. I was thinking LED strip light and then interface with the PC panel lighting. Upton,

    thoughts welcome..

    thanks, Neo

    Re: Backlighting Panels

Did you get a response on this?

On the MIP, MCP, EFIS, I am using LED strips and then a cheap dimmers off Amazon. Just attach 12v power input and then LED strips to the out connection. Works perfectly. Don't need special software to manage it. I think this should work for your overhead.
