LOC / GS approch not in direction of Runway

    Hi,
have deleted all *.bin files and the navrecord.dat files in NAVDATA1 and NAVDATA2. The copied the new navrecord.dat generated by Navigraph of AIRAC1612 to the NAVDATA1 and NAVDATA2 folders, starting FMGS sever and after some times it has created 10 new *.bin files. From this location the 10 *.bin files I have copied to the Navdata Folder of the Client PC whos displaying the ND's. Flying from EDDC RWY 22 to EDDF RWY 25C. During final approach ILS was captured after pressing APPR button on FCU and the AP2 button. Cat III dual is shown in PFD. But this final approach is in visual not longitual to the runway and if I do not manual the landing, the ACRFT is touching down away from the RWY. The same on landing on 04R on LFMN. The approch localizer is identical with the route on ND but the visual is beside the path.

Also during final approach the altitude shut out sounds are wrong in comparing to the altitude of the PDF and STBY. QNH was set correctly to the actual META data in MCDU and performance tab and also shown exactly on the EFIS.

What I'm doing wrong? After ADIRS align, MCDU shows NAV ACCUR UPGRAD. Is this a hint about this issue?

    thank for your help, Frank

    Hi Frank,

have a look at this post: http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/showthread.php?t=30734&page=2

I have had the same problem. Rebuilding the database and refresh of FMGS solved the problem in my case. So you seem to be on the right path with what you did already. I don't remember, if just restarted FMGS, or if I did a reinstall after deleting the .bin files.

The "Nav Accur Upgrad" message has definitely nothing to do with it.

Re: LOC / GS approch not in direction of Runway

    Thanks Michael,

I have yesterday evening moved from FSX to P3D, exactly the same problem on final approach on LFMN or EDDF.
So the problem is not the simulator.

Rebuilding the database I have done - I believe it was right like I have written in post #1?

But: I have done an update to B46: what if the program who's doing the database build was not updated?
I will make a new clean installation of FMGS this evening.

Yesterday the altitude shout outs are exactly 1000 feet below altitude in PFD / STBY, e.g. shout 2000 => 3000 in PFD.

Also on both approaches STS shows magenta colored: LDG INHIBIT but during landing or after touch down no messages are in STS shown.

Can anybody tell me please where the calibration settings are stored? I would like to the save the time for new calibration.

    Thanks, Frank

Re: LOC / GS approch not in direction of Runway

Yesterday compleate uninstall FMGS and deleted folder C:\A320FMGS and user\appdate\roaming\jeehellware

Install B46 FMGS, configured all sticks, leaver and so on.
Download Airac 1612 from navigraph, run exe and extract data to user\appdate\roaming\jeehellware
Starting Jeehell FMGS, after a few minutes, 10 *.bin files are created. Stopping FMGS.
Starting P3D, setup fuel and payload, starting FMGS, starting Skalarki I/O profiler (updated yesterday too) and running Jeehell profile.
Flying from EDDC to EDDF, on final approach the cockpit view shows being right from the center and crossing runway in an angle of around 15 degree. ILS G/S and LOC are locked and the aircraft is followed perfectly but the cokpit view shows it not. During final approach, LDG inhibit lighting magenta colored up but no STS failures are shown. Also during the flight, AP disabled themself from time to time whithout any failurs or strong turbulences, wind was 270 with 25 kn on FL 280. No reason in STS showing, or the sidestick was moved.

    Someon any ideas?
    best regards, Frank

Re: LOC / GS approch not in direction of Runway

Have installed Airac Cycle 1508 from NavDataPro and now the final approaches are absolutely correct. So the problem is the airac cycle 1612 from Navigraph. Can anyone give me please a feedback who's using airac cycle 1612 ? From which (NavdataPro or Navigraph) and how does it works?

    Thanks
    Frank

Can you test please the final ILS approach to RWY "25C" on "EDDF" by using STAR "KERAX" ?
Do you use FSX or P3D in which version?

best regards and thanks for your help, Frank

Re: LOC / GS approch not in direction of Runway

    Hi Frank

Thanks for your help. I'm writing in english because maybe other users have the same issue, I hope this it not a problem for you?

Which "scenery.cfg" do you mean, the "root" one in the installation path of P3D or this one: C:\Users\(user name here)\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D

    thanks, Frank
