Virtual RMP (Radio Management Panel) for Jeehell

Hi everyone.

I've created a virtual RMP panel for use with Jeehell.



You can set the two available FS frequencies, VHF1 or VHF2, either by spinning the mouse wheel or by left/right clicking on the outer and inner knobs. Activate the Standby frequency with the TRANSFER (<->) button.

The panel works with SimConnect and doesn't really speak to Jeehell at this time, so only those two buttons work.

The latest release is v1.0.0. Download the zip, extract both files in the same folder and run JeehellRMP.exe. More info is available at the readme.

The project is open source, with a Creative Commons license and available on gitbub.

I'd appreciate if you use Github issues for problems you might encounter.

Assuming that JH simulates all RMP functions, the next version will connect to Jeehell and bring either or both of:
- Using the other RMP functions (like STB NAV)
- Supporting all three RMPs (which should light the SEL lamp if the "wrong" radio is selected for each side)

wow, thanks for your idea and your work.
I really need this panel while waiting for the hardware built.
Currently I am using the apps on iphone to control Com frequencies.

Updated to v1.0.0, the first feature complete release.

Main difference is that I added a context menu (right click menu) with options to rotate, lock, save position, etc, like the other Jeehell panels and also to select the light gray panel color that the other JH panels have (if you prefer that one).

Fixes a minor bug that allowed mode to be changed while disconnected and has several internal code clean-ups (that nobody probably really should care about other than a programmer ).

But I have no plans of when that will happen.

I got the program crashed when click to any button.
Could you please advise on this? I am with Win7, .NET Frameworks 4.6.2 installed.

My guess is that something is wrong with your simconnect version (or that it is missing from your system altogether).

I am using RF COMM app on iPhone, it also uses simconnect to communicate with FSX. and it works OK.
