With real weather from FSGRW I had very small ups and downs in the first enroute phase of the flight, which can be caused by turbulences. Trim (managed mode) at 0.7 up in climb to 0.4 on cruise altitude. After some minutes these ups and downs disappeared. The airplane feels very stable with this setup, vertical management works perfect.
For me TOPCAT ist very useful in combination with PFPX, so I can transfer the planned load and fuel to the airplane.
I will also do more check flights. I´m very interested in your solution, René.
    Hi, which topcat's profile uses for JHB46's A32x ?

    Profile?

    1) You need the correct Aircraft Type file to be found in TOPCAT folder AIRCRAFT (A320-214.acft
    )

    2) So you will find this aircraft in the list at TOPCAT>Configuration>Configuration. Apply then.

3)Then you need the correct txt file in TOPCAT folder CONFIGURATIONS

And at the end you go to TOPCAT > Aircraft >Add where you choose the
    Type: Airbus 320-214
    Configuration: A320-214 JeeHell FMGS
    correct aircraft.cfg file (Browse)

With the attached files TOPCAT should load the B46 Airbus.
    !!!!!Please rename A320-214.txt in A320-214.acft !!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is only one good configuration:
    https://soarbywire.wordpress.com/fmgs-resource/

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/nwyv3uacz2...opcat.zip?dl=0

First: Load P3D, run TOPCAT, send payload/fuel
    Then: run FMGS.

    Re: A320 FMGS B46

Model from Jeehell B46 has extra "things". FMGS also...
It can not be included in the Topcat.
I use Topcat only to calculate V1/Vr/V2. (I enter weight manually).
But if you keep the sequence (first Topcat then FMGS) it should work.
It should ... I do not give a guarantee.

Other models (A318/A319/A321) will not work properly with FMGS.

And what is/are the (positive) effects of these extra "things" and of entering the weight manually?
In other words: Why is TOPCAT not recommendable to calculate ZFW and MAC?

In the flight model, the declared DOW is much less than the actual A320 DOW (TOPCAT probably raises a warning about this one).
THis is because of some internal tweaking of the model. The software uses two additional loading stations (called "adjustement") to move the CG aft/FWD depending on some parameters. These must NOT be changed from the default aircraft.cfg, or it can cause issues (I believe TOPCAT sets those to 0kg, which is NOT correct).

    Re: A320 FMGS B46

    Thank you!
Yes, it's true, TOPCAT sets the two loading stations (adjustement) to 0 kg. For the next flight I won't use TOPCAT in order to check if there are some (positive) effects.

    @ jeehell
I completely forgot to thank you for this great version with remarkable improvement of RNAV!

    Re: A320 FMGS B46

In my case, when I send Payload and Fuel with TOPCAT to the A320, the additional adjustment loading stations do not get set to zero kg. Both values remain the same as before sending the Payload/Fuel from TOPCAT. See attached images. The image labeled FMGS is how the aircraft is loaded by default. The other image labeled TOPCAT shows the loading after done with TOPCAT. With the configuration file from "ToTom" I do not receive any error-message from TOPCAT when sending the Payload/Fuel. I do also not notice any difference in the adjustment loading stations no matter if I load the plane before or after starting FMGS.

I use PFPX for flight planning in combination with TOPCAT for V-Speeds calculations and sending Payload/Fuel to the aircraft.

The Turbulence effect scale in AS16 is set to 20%.

The new aircraft model flies very smoothly and I do not experience any vertical oscillations during the entire flight. This was an issue before version B46.
