bbi 32 card problems

hi guys can any one tell me how to connect the bbi32 bodnar card to fsx im using a paid copy of fusipc and just for test i tied connecting a rotary swtich 12 pole from bodnar also which only has a pcb board with 2 soldier pins out which i conected to the board .
it seems to fing the card ok in fsuipc but when i asighn it to something it wont work if used ifly planes ect but still nothing also it will only acept one click of the rotary knobsaying its in unit 32 of the board /but when i select the places on the rotatary there is nothing .what am i doing wrong cheers foodi
