MCDU.execstopped working & OVH not working

Ok I have everything installed ok-but when I start the software, I try to click on the buttons on the overhead. None of them will respond-like batteries, apu etc.
Also after a few minutes I get messages stating that my MCDU has stooped working.
As well as this, when I look at some of the windows, the messages alternate from FMGS connected to FMGS not connected.
So far I cannot use this software-hopefully there's something I can do?
I have AND graphics and an AMD processor on my laptop-if that causes issues (I know it can do for other FS/P3D stuff).
I'm using it with P3D v3 by the way
    regards,

    Mark

Are you starting the programs with administrator rights?

Yes I am-thanks for your reply. Could Mr Jeehell possibly give me an insight? I know the developer will know all the internal works and fault logging of the software.
    cheers,
